This 40 year-old health care worker was debating between a breast lift and breast augmentation. She worked at a physician’s clinic and had heard of Ann Arbor Plastic Surgery because of our excellent reputation at the local hospital. She felt her breast size was ample in a good push-up bra, but in swim and evening wear her breast tissue had taken on what she called a “pancake” appearance. During her consultation with our Board Certified Michigan Plastic Surgeon she opted for a vertical breast lift. The lift enabled her to maintain her natural breast volume by removing only extra skin and no breast tissue. She is thrilled with the postoperative results, describing them as achieving the shape of breast implants without the actual use of them.
