My breasts are something I’ve never been the happiest with. However, after giving birth to and breastfeeding my daughter; I had come to feel self-conscious, even around my husband. Breast augmentation was something I had wanted to do for as long as I could remember.
Finally Taking Action
Finally, the day of the consultation arrived, and I started to have second thoughts. I knew somewhat what to expect going into the consultation because it was explained to me ahead of time when I called to set up the consultation. This was nice because I am the type of person that likes to plan. The thought of having to show my breasts scared me, but the consultation went so smoothly, and Dr. Pramit Malhotra made me feel comfortable.
The Big Day
Going into the surgery, I was very nervous. I work in the medical field, but this was new to me personally. I had never had surgery before, so I was unsure what to expect. Before I knew it, I was on the other side and well on my way to recovery! The day of surgery, I was home by that afternoon and comfortably situated on the couch. Recovery was better than I had thought. I had the surgery on a Thursday and was back to work on Monday.
Newfound Confidence
I am so glad that I finally did it and wish that I had done it years ago. With my breast augmentation, I have a newfound confidence! I now love wearing bathing suits and getting dressed up for going out on the town! Best decision that I ever made!
