Latisse® Eyelash Growth In Ann Arbor

Many patients of Plastic Surgeon Dr. Pramit Malhotra comment that the results look dramatically better than eyelash extensions, and because the eyelashes are your own, they are much more durable than eyelash extensions.

Benefits

LATISSE can help Michigan patients grow longer, darker, and thicker eyelashes. This prescription treatment is easy to use: patients apply it just like eyeliner once daily for the first four months, then less often after that to maintain results.

Candidates

This treatment is helpful for individuals with short, brittle, sparse lashes that lack volume. Before you begin using this medication, realize that maximum eyelash growth for many Michigan women requires several weeks.

General Procedure

The procedure for applying LATISSE is effortlessly simple for our Michigan patients: First remove contact lenses, take off any makeup, and thoroughly cleanse your face. Then, put a drop of LATISSE on the provided applicator and “paint” the medication along the base of the upper eyelash line, from the innermost corner to the outermost, once daily. Once you have established long, beautiful lashes, you can maintain your results by applying the treatment less frequently. It is important to apply this product consistently to ensure optimal results.

Recovery Process

There is no downtime with LATISSE because eyelash growth for most Ann Arbor patients is gradual. During the first 4 weeks, patients generally notice their eyelashes growing longer. Then, during the subsequent weeks, they see fuller, darker lashes. By week 16, most women notice the full effects of the treatment.

Patients who have used LATISSE for a significant amount of time often find that they need to apply the treatment less frequently to maintain results. However, if they stop using it altogether, eyelashes will return to their original pre-treatment appearance.
