Since I was young enough to understand that every woman develops differently as we grow up, I quickly realized that my body type was not going to be like anyone else’s, and that I am my own individual self. I was always an athlete and avid runner and felt that my chest was slowly disappearing. I have always felt that my “top half” didn’t match my “bottom half.” I have a lot of control over how my body can gain or lose weight (in most cases), but staying consistently womanly up top was never something I could control. I knew I always wanted a breast augmentation, but was never really serious until it hit me that “Hey, why not? Now is as good of a time as any!” I don’t have any kids (yet) and felt that I was finally at a place in my life where I was just simply ready.
